Membership in the BBA is not simply adding your name to a list. It is being part of a group that works to support the business community. One that speaks for changes that improve our community and its economic-center, Downtown Burlington. We offer these tangible benefits.
Advocacy
The BBA’s executive director and board of directors represent your interests when issues are raised that affect Burlington businesses and the vitality of our city. The BBA works hard on your behalf to ensure that Burlington’s cultural and business communities continue to thrive. This is an opportunity for you to be active in a non-political organization whose primary objective is to support our community’s success by using a powerful, unified voice.
Networking
Our members meet other like minded business people who care about Burlington’s future. Through their mutual affiliation with the BBA, they share the stewardship of downtown Burlington, and develop business-to-business relationships by attending our monthly meetings and social events.
Action
The BBA is the voice of Burlington business. We are actively engaged in the economic and quality-of-life issues facing our vibrant city today. We remain involved through the efforts of our executive director, board of directors, and members, who volunteer their time through various committees focused on the Waterfront and Downtown, Marketing and Development, Programs and Promotions.
